Umso erfreulicher war es, im November 2022 alle Mitarbeitenden wieder aktiv im Einsatz zu sehen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bei einem Projektbesuch in Anonie wurde die Arbeit von PUC und TOKA besonders gew\u00fcrdigt:<br>\u201eDr., ich muss Dir danken! Durch Euch habe ich als Tiergesundheitshelfer Anerkennung in der Community gefunden. Viele \u00fcberlebten COVID nur mit M\u00fche \u2013 auch Projektkoordinator Peter Owori war schwer erkrankt, konnte seine Arbeit inzwischen aber wieder aufnehmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Er berichtet: Der Medikamentenverkauf \u00fcber den TOKA-Shop wurde nach dem Lockdown wieder aufgenommen, sicherte ein Basiseinkommen, reichte aber kaum f\u00fcr laufende Kosten wie Miete und Geb\u00fchren. Einige Mitglieder steuerten aus eigener Tasche bei, doch auch Kundenzahlungen blieben oft aus \u2013 das Geld war knapp, die Armut gr\u00f6\u00dfer als zuvor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PUC wird TOKA daher 2023 erneut unterst\u00fctzen. Ziel ist, die wirtschaftliche Basis zu st\u00e4rken \u2013 durch Beratung in Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrung und Verwaltung.
